Basa Fish (Pangasius Hypophthalmus) is a species of catfish in the family Pangasiidae. Basa Fish of Mekong Delta brings a message of Nature and its purity to the world. Basa Fish are native to the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam, the fast-flowing waters of the Mekong give the meat a clean, fresh flavour. Basa is a tasty fish, which blends in any cuisine giving an authentic taste of the dish. It has a delicate texture with nice white flesh rich in Omega 3.

To meet the quality these juveniles feed on a Controlled feed source which contains 90% grain, rice bran and a small source of fish meal coming from national international sources.

Types of Basa:

Well – Trimmed: It has a white, flaky meat, fillet is skinless, boneless, no red meat, belly flap off and fat off.
Untrimmed: It is slightly reddish/pink, i.e. red meat on, fat on, belly on and similarly it is skinless as well as boneless.
